Mission

The mission of TeraGrid’s Education, Outreach and Training (EOT) is to pro-actively engage significantly larger numbers of, and more diverse communities of, researchers, educators and students in learning about, using, and contributing to applications of cyberinfrastructure to ensure America’s long-term global competitiveness.

The goals for EOT include:

Providing education and training on cyberinfrastructure and scientific computing resources across all disciplines, and across all stages of learning from K-12 education through professional practice.

Enabling awareness of and access to TeraGrid technologies and resources for research and education.

Ensuring diversity among all activities

Expanding the community of users of TeraGrid and promoting their successful applications of cyberinfrastructure among research and education communities
